India Celebrates Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics Awarded to Large Hadron Collider Experiments, Mumbai/New Delhi, May 26, 2025

Thanks to the funding agencies for their continuing, active support: Department of Atomic Energy, India, and Department of Science and Technology, Government of India!

The Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics has been awarded to four experimental collaborations at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC) – ATLAS, CMS, ALICE and LHCb. CHEP is part of the CMS Collaboration at CERN. April 2025

Prof. Jyothsna Rani Komaragiri along with her three graduated PhD students, Lata Panwar, Praveen Chandra Tiwari and Deepak Kumar from CHEP are among the winners of this prize from CMS Collaboration.
